Where do these ideas come from?
Okay, I had the strangest thought the other day and my mind keeps going back to the idea...
I was looking for one of my "snap, crackle, pop" plastic (from the kellogs box) watches and it crossed my mind that it would be easier to find your watches if they spoke the time. Everywhere all over the world watches and clocks are of two basic kinds , analog or digital, and you have to pretty much see them to tell the time. The only difference is the ones that have bells or buzzers or coo-coo's and those noises only usually occur on the hour. So I was thinking that someone who knows about these kind of things -- I figure with the tiny technology out there this should not be a problem -- needs to create and then produce talking clocks. A clock that says " 5 to 9" or its a "quarter past two' or it's twenty to eight, or half past six. The world is ready for talking clocks and not just for the obvious reason, that someone who can't see or can't get to a clock to see it will then be able to know what time it is, but a less obvious reason is that for a long time now schools have not taught children how to read a clock --- I didn't realize until my son was in high school that he did not know how to read an analog clock! So a talking clock would take the pressure (some pressure!) off children and teachers and they could just eliminate the teaching of time...
I guess my little tag line says it all
